Jabong ropes in Sachin Sinha as Chief Technology Officer

Leading online fashion retailer, Jabong has roped in Sachin Sinha as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technology initiatives of the company. Prior to heading Jabong's technology initiatives, Sinha, was in charge of the engineering department of Amazon India.

Sinha has 16 years of experience in software design, development and project leadership in building high performance, scalable software products and platforms in cluster/distributed computing, database and e-commerce domain. He has worked with the SQL group at Microsoft. He had also developed an ecommerce portal in financial domain for an US-based bank.

Fashion e-retailer Jabong is also seeking a valuation of over 1 billion dollars (over Rs 6,200 crores) as it looks to attract the next round of funding of around 150-200 million dollars (over Rs 940-1,250 crores). The company is also looking at being a part of Global Fashion Group (GFG), expected to go live early April.
