Delhi-based Ahujasons Shawl Wale has opened a new store called ‘Ahujasons Prive’ in Delhi’s Khan Market areas. This is the brand’s third outlet in Delhi after the ones at Karol Bagh and South Extension. Ahujasons also enjoys presence in the overseas market with a store at Tokyo in Japan.

Continuing the company’s legacy of offering premium shawls, the new Ahujasons Privè at Khan Market will continue retail pure pashmina, cashmere shawls and stoles hand-crafted using traditional techniques but appealing to the modern day fashion demand.

The company is also establishing its own ecommerce platform. It had earlier announced its plans of investing around Rs 140 crores to expand its retail footprint across India and overseas. Company aims to open 12 showrooms in India and six in international locations in the next five years. The company plans to open showrooms in Kolkata, Hong Kong and Beijing by next year.

Ahujasons earns around 60 percent of its total turnover from exports, and despite its domestic expansion plans, it would continue to focus on exports to increase turnover. Founded in the year 1979 with its first store in Delhi, Ahujasons Shal Wale began exporting its products in 1992 with opening of first overseas office in Paris.
