India arm of American ecommerce giant, Amazon.in has launched an ‘International Shoe Store’ on its platform, which has stocked footwear collections of nine designer brands. The names include over 3,500 selections from brands like Roberto Botticelli, Allesandro Dell' Acqua, Desigual, Fonti, CR7 by Christiano Ronaldo, British Knights, HUB, Calvin Klein, and O'neill.

While Roberto Botticelli is offering around 400 footwear styles from the brand's latest collection like casual sneakers, loafers, moccasins and a wide range of formals, Allensadro Dell' Acqua has continental styles for everyone. The brand offers more than 200 styles with a collection of formal footwear, slip on, fashion sneakers, leather platform boots and lace detailed fashion shoes. Spanish fashion brand Desigual known for its intense prints, patchwork designs, innovative graffiti art, asymmetrical patterns and flamboyant splashes of colour has stocked 400 styles from the brand on Amazon.in.

The American ecommerce giant has decided to continue investing in India after witnessing strong business around the festive sale events and rising number of sellers on its platform. The company had earlier announced an investment of two billion dollars (over Rs 12,990 crores) in the country to expand its operations. This month, it also set up a new fulfilment centre in Pune, taking the total number of such centres to over 21 with a cumulative storage capacity of over five million cubic feet.
