Arvind Brands plans to open 25 Calvin Klein innerwear stores

After acquiring the right to retail Calvin Klein products in India, March last year, Arvind Brands is in the process of opening the doors to 25 Calvin Klein innerwear outlets over the next three years. The company will also bring, brand’s formal and casual wear range to the country, by mid-2016.
Arvind Lifestyle Brands, subsidiary of Arvind, will look after expansion and enhancement of the existing Calvin Klein Jeans apparel and accessories (including belts, bags, and small leather goods) and Calvin Klein Underwear (including sleepwear and loungewear) businesses, in the country. Arvind Lifestyle Brands already has an impressive brand line-up comprising Tommy Hilfiger, US Polo Assn, Elle, Geoffrey Beene, Arrow among others,
The company aims to achieve a revenue target of Rs 175 crores from combined innerwear portfolio of Calvin Klein, US Polo and Hanes, this year. Even, American lifestyle brand Gap has formally announced its partnership with Arvind Lifestyle Brand to open franchise-operated Gap brand stores in India. The first stores are expected to be launched in Mumbai and New Delhi in 2015 offering brand’s summer 2015 collection for adults, kids and babies. The brand plans to open about 40 franchise-operated Gap stores in India.
