Bangalore’s elite throng to luxury bazaars

Along with flea markets and ecommerce platforms rich citizens from Bangalore are increasingly exploring luxury bazaars to get hold of a priced possession of their choice. Such luxury bazaars showcase collections of high-end designer labels from across India under one roof.

Exhibitions like the Spicy Sangria, Chrysallis, Paraphernalia and Fuzone are witnessing encouraging response in the city. Chrysallis exhibition that started with just 40 vendors, today showcases range by almost 65 to 70 witnessing rising demand from the visitors. Exhibitions like Chrysallis provide a platform for upcoming, talented artists and designers to showcase their products to a wide audience.

So far considered conservative in their choice, Bengaluru citizens are now opening up to fashion the way customers from cities such as Delhi and Mumbai. Though most other luxury bazaars are organised by Bangalorians, Spicy Sangria is conducted by Mumbai-based luxury consultant Sharmilla Khanna. The exhibition is now held twice a year in the city.
