Basil Leaf opens its debut store in Mumbai

Over a decade-old women’s ethnic and Indo-western wear brand Basil Leaf from the house of X&O Clothing, has opened its first store at Dadar in Mumbai. Spread across 650 sq. ft., the new store offers ethnic wear for modern woman and young girls.

The collection in bright shades, rich craftsmanship, designs and luxurious fabrics reflects the aspirations and ambitions of today’s women. The store lays emphasis on perfection and features exuberant and intricate designs, well-crafted ethnic wear for girls and traditional kurtis and tunics for women.

For its range, the company takes inspiration and ideas from fashion forecasts, movies, serials and international brands. Sighting that today’s girls like to dress like their mothers, the brand puts efforts in creating clothing that would appeal to both the age-groups. The fabrics used for the collection range from polyester, chiffons, georgettes, satin, silks to brocades.
