Being Human to open eight new stores by March 2015

Being Human Clothing, backed by actor Salman Khan’s Being Human Foundation aims to open eight stores including five franchise stores, two exclusive brand outlets (EBOs) in India and one franchise store in Nepal by March 2015. The new stores will be launched in Hyderabad, Kolhapur, Mohali, Noida, Lucknow, Pune and Jalandhar and Pokhra in Nepal. Being Human Clothing is manufactured and retailed by Mandhana Industries.
As a part of their retail expansion plans, the company inaugurated 18 exclusive stores, including 6 franchise outlets during FY13-14 and 5 EBOs in FY12-13. Operating 29 exclusive stores including 6 franchisees, Being Human Clothing offers global fashion, while helping the twin causes of education and healthcare through the Being Human Foundation. The company targets to increase the number of stores to 50 by end of 2015.
The wide range of collection offered by the brand includes T-shirts, shirts, polos, denims, chinos, shorts, jackets, hoodies, flip flops and accessories. Being Human Clothing has also extended its line to include women’s wear portfolio of dresses, skirts, tops and blouses. Mandhana recently announced plans to go for a demerger and subject to approval, the retail business comprising its Being Human brand and other brands, would be known as Mandhana Retail Ventures.
