The celebration will offer up to 50 percent off on products under various categories like: apparels, kitchenware, home furnishings and others. As a part of its ‘Omni channel strategy’, Big Bazaar has also launched its virtual franchise program. Under the Big Bazaar Direct initiative, the franchise owners will be provided digital kiosk over which the catalog of Big Bazaars products will be available to customers. Big Bazaar aims to open about 1000 such stores by the year end hoping to expand to 10,000 virtual franchises.

The non-food products ordered through the franchise will use the same supply chain as the e-commerce companies and the product sourcing will be from Nagpur. For the food category, local supply chains would be used. The payment will be made to the franchise operator once a customer orders an item through the digital kiosk. The delivery part will be taken care by the Big Bazaar direct and the product will be delivered within 3-7 days.
