Chennai-based ethnic wear portal CBazaar.com, owned by Net Avenue Technologies, raised Rs 300-500 million from Forum Synergies and existing investors, Inventus Capital and @Ojas_Venture_P. The online store plans to utilize the funds to hire talent, enhance technology and expand into newer locations including the US, UK, Canada, South Africa and the Middle East.

CBazaar offers a wide range of products for women, men and kids. The lines include sarees, salwar kameez, anarkali suits, lehengas, sherwani suits, kurta pyjamas , fusion wear and accessories. After acquiring HomeIndia.com, a traditional bridal wear specialist in 2007, CBazaar has also become an exclusive bridal wear shopping portal. The collection includes over 16,000 exquisite designs.
