Cherokee to launch kids’ brand in India

Cherokee Global Brands, already having Mossimo, Sideout, Cherokee and
Carole Little brands under its fold is set to launch a new children's wear
brand in India this August. Called Point Cove - California Clothing
Company, Cherokee will display brand’s latest offerings at Licensing Expo
in Las Vegas this month. The brand has been developed by Cherokee's
in-house design team for children aged 2 to 14 years. It offers trendy
fashion in footwear, accessories and home offerings. The label will be
available at the 109 Reliance Trends stores across India.
Last year, Cherokee Global Brands entered a strategic partnership with India’s Reliance Retail, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries. The partnership enables Cherokee Global Brands to leverage Reliance Trends’ established marketing and retail distribution strengths to promote the new brand in India. With this association, Reliance Trends has further strengthened its proposition in the apparel segment by offering fashionable, high quality, design-led brand to Indian consumers.
