Columbia Sportswear partners with Myntra

App-only shopping platform Myntra has launched products of American brand Columbia Sportswear through Chogori India Retail, Columbia Sportswear Company's exclusive distributor in India. Columbia will retail over 300 styles of apparel, footwear and accessories through Myntra. The innovative collection has features such as quick dry, waterproof protection, breathable warming technology and moisture management.

To commemorate the launch, Myntra has announced a contest, wherein around six shoppers will get a chance to win a fully paid adventure trip to the Everest Base Camp in October 2015. Columbia Sportswear also plans to take the number of stores in India to 35 by FY 2017/18, with a target of growing domestic sales to Rs 170 crores by then. Chogori India Retail will open three more stores of the brand by the end of this year, taking its total count to 21. The plans is also to launch other outdoor labels such as Goal Zero, Nalgene, Buff, Black Diamond and Julbo through shop-in-shops at its existing Columbia Sportswear stores.

The company also retails its products on its own web-store Columbiasportswear.co.in, which was launched in October last year and aims to partner with more ecommerce firms in the future.
