Desigual opens two airport stores in India

Spanish fashion brand Desigual has opened doors to two new retail stores for the first time in India at Mumbai and Bangalore airports. *In June, Desigual opened a 30sq. mt. corner in Nuance’s Attitude store at Mumbai Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport, marking the first opening at any duty free outlet in India, followed by another 10 sq. mt. one at Bangalore Kempegowda International Airport.
Both stores are displaying the brand’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection of women’s wear and accessories, including scarves and bags in brand’s signature patchwork designs and colourful prints. Future openings at Kempegowda International Airport and Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport will take place in partnership with Shoppers Stop.
Established in 1984 by Thomas Meyer, Desigual is a popular casual clothing brand characterized by its patchwork designs, intense prints, innovative graffiti art and flamboyant splashes of colour. The brand offers men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, accessories and shoes. It is present in over 100 countries across the world through 400 stores, 2,500 corners in department stores and 11,000 multi brand stores. In 2003, leading e-commerce fashion platform Jabong.com first introduced Desigual range in India.
