Donear Industries has taken up an aggressive retail expansion drive and plans to open 500 exclusive brand outlets (EBOs) in the near future. At present, the company is operating 300 EBOs, including 100 Donear NXG EBOs, 150 D’Cot EBOs and 50 Donear Exclusive (fabric + apparels) EBOs. All these EBOs are franchisee-run.

The plan is to launch 80 EBOs by this year end, while in 2015-16 it will open another 100 EBOs, all to be managed by the franchisees. The company is focusing on metros, Tier-I, II, III and even IV cities for expansion. Expecting the men’s wear apparel segment to contribute the largest market share in next 5 years in value retail segment, Donear would open 1,000 EBOs by 2020.

Donear has two brands in its ready-to-wear segment. It launched D’Cot in October 2007 as a value retail brand. Thereafter, it opened Donear NXG in January 2011 which is a mid-priced brand for young office goers and entrepreneurs. D’Cot offers trendy shirts, formal wear, denims, formal trousers, casual trousers, T-shirts and accessories like socks, handkerchief, wallets and belts. Donear NXG offers casual shirts, smart formals shirts and trousers, tees and a wide range of accessories. The company started franchising in October 2007 with 19 EBOs and today it has more than 300 EBOs operating in 18 states.
