DoTheFashion, a leading fashion blogging websites in India, plans to support local artisans by launching a dedicated online platform to showcase their work. The website would provide an opportunity to emerging designers, models, fashion photographers, videographers and writers to present their talent to the world through DoTheFashion.

DoTheFashion firmly believes in promoting the diverse fashion forms present in India. Through their content, the company promotes these fashion forms, such as Mekhela Chador of Assam or Nauvari sari of Maharashtra, which don’t get enough attention in the Indian fashion scene. Bloggers on DoTheFashion recently published a series of articles specifically focusing on various fashion forms in different regions of the country. The series titled ‘#desidepth’ was a tribute to the rich fashion culture that exists in India which remains unrecognized. This was done to create interest among the masses towards the variety of fashion forms present in the country.

The company believes that fashion is a form of expression, so the platform was launched to make this a world a more expressive place to live in. Fashion is not about who wears the best brands or most expensive clothes, keeping this in mind, the company wants to make a statement, ‘Fashion for All’. Aim is to show that while brands are a huge part of fashion, but fashion is not only about brands.
