Footwear an addition to brand line
Throwing more light on the company’s foray into footwear segment, chairman Komal Kumar Jain says, “The new footwear collection perfectly epitomizes the Duke brand in its style, aesthetics and production. Every detail of the shoe is carefully produced with the care of Italian craftsmanship.” He explained that a centralized, multi-product engine for wholesale and retail distribution will be created to support Duke’s long-term business in this segment. Duke’s footwear range features a variety of sports, lifestyle, casual and joggers.Keeping the uber cool stylish, classy youngsters into mind, Duke has introduced a new range titled ‘Urban Style’ for Autumn/Winter season this year. It has a wide variety of colorful jackets, sweaters, sweatshirts and other products. The latest Autumn/Winter collection is the perfect amalgamation of style and comfort which will help youngsters brave any weather. “The men, women and kids collections have been developed in sync with global trends. The collection reflects the vibrancy of the brand and overall sense of fun, comfort and warmth that winter is all about. One will find a surge of energy in the collection visible through the array of colours, designs and customised fabrics like bonded fabrics, space dyed knits and innovative blends. The surface finishing has got a new luster and hand feel. It focuses on confident layering combinations of garments, colours and textures,” opines Kuntal Jain, Director.
Venturing into rural India
After entering the markets of UAE, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Jeddah etc, the brand has mooted a plan for expansion in to India's untapped rural markets. At the moment Duke has a presence in over 4,000 MBOs, 390 EBOs and big chain stores like Walmart, Best Price, Bharti Retail, Easy Day, Reliance Trends, Cash & Carry, Hypermarket, Aditya Birla Mega Mart, Metro Cash & Carry among others and online presence on Myntra.com, Flipkart.com, Jabong.com, Fashionara.com, Amazon.com etc.

The company is taking various steps to make the Duke a contemporary brand of today by embracing a vertically integrated manufacturing plan with knitting, dyeing, production facilities in India.
Recently, Duke Fashion was crowned ‘Indian Power Brand’ at Power Brand Glam 2013 in Las Vegas. It has received two national awards viz ‘Excellent Quality Readymade Garments’ and ‘Outstanding Entrepreneurship’ by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) for two consecutive years. Duke has also been conferred the President’s Award for excellence in innovation and manufacturing quality readymade garments.
