Essentiel Antwerp opens first British store

Belgian brand Essentiel Antwerp has crossed the channel. The first UK shop has opened its doors in London, where it can be found at Sloane Square, according to the press release.

The brand has a total of 185 square metres at its disposal in the new location. It is the first time UK customers will be able to experience the Essentiel Antwerp retail experience. In recent years, sales and visitor numbers on the UK webshop have been increasing, leading to Essentiel making the decision to open the shop.

"The shop opening is an important step for Essentiel Antwerp - both in terms of growth for the company in the UK but also in other countries. We have always dreamed of having a shop in London and are therefore delighted," CEO Esfan Eghtessadi said in the press release.

"London has also always been a great inspiration for the collections so it feels good to have a shop there now," added creative director Inge Onsea in the message.

Essentiel Antwerp is expanding fast. In 2018, the brand opened three shops in the Netherlands and opened a second German store.
