Red Polka, an online fashion discovery site, has upgraded its website. It now comes with features like personal profile page, wishlist creation and colour code for every category. The new site has been divided into three categories or verticals – Fashion, Lifestyle and Kids. All of them are colour coded for making it easy to navigate the site. Also, visitors will now have access to Red Polka’s weekly-curated fashion editions of up to last four editions.
By relaunching the website, the company is trying to offer personalised curation services to women shoppers who have accepted Red Polka’s curated line of fashion and lifestyle products. The website’s weekly fashion editions are popular among women shoppers and has resulted in 35 per cent repeat traffic on the site.
Vishakha Singh, founder and CEO, Red Polka explained the need for the revamped website by pointing out that now they can ‘personalise curation for every shopper so that they discover exactly what they are looking for’. She also said that the redesign was intended to ensure that the site remained effective and user-friendly.
Red Polka is a one of its kind interactive website that curates fashion and lifestyle designs as well as tells the stories behind each brand they feature. The company has discovered 150 upcoming designer brands and helped them to find a market for their products. Last year, the company raised a round of angel funding of USD 2,50,000 from many investors for technology upgradation and enhancing brand visibility. A mobile app is also in the pipeline.
