Hush Puppies opens global format store in Mumbai

Retailed in India by Bata, footwear label Hush Puppies has opened a new global format store at Grand Galleria, Phoenix in Mumbai. This is the brand’s 7th concept store in the city. Customer friendly design is the USP of this new concept store. The collection on offer includes premium casual and work footwear for men and women as well as accessories like bags, belts, wallets and shoe care products. The aim is to offer a complete shopping experience to consumers with new store designs combined with latest technology, wide product assortment and customer service.

In 1958, Hush Puppies introduced its range in the world market and today the brand boasts of sales of over 17 million pairs of shoes every year in more than 165 countries.

Of late, Bata is aggressively pursuing growth plans. To take on the online competition, the company plans to strengthen its online retailing business with services like ‘Click and Reserve’. The brand is also working on reviving labels like Power, North Star and Hush Puppies that sell under its portfolio.
