These showrooms will sell intimate garments such as loungewear, bridal nightwear, honeymoon sets, bathrobes, nightwear, sportswear, legging, camisole, and bra & panties. The new loungewear range is meant for men, women, kids and toddlers. To cater to the retail expansion plan, the company is also in the process of acquiring 2.25 lakh square feet land in Gujarat for the setting up of another state of the art manufacturing plant. It owns a production unit in Thane, Mumbai.
Ashapura Intimates Fashion has reported encouraging results for the six months ended on September 30, 2014. The total income rose to Rs 78.29 crores, which was Rs 71.64 crores in the corresponding period of previous year. Profit before tax went up to Rs 4.09 crore which was Rs 3.54 crore. Profit after tax shot up to Rs 2.77 crore, which was Rs 2.39 crore in the previous year.
