Italian brand NAU to open 70 stores in India

Italy's premier eyewear brand NAU which means 'now' that entered the country recently, has decided open 70 exclusive outlets over the next five years with an investment of Rs 40-45 crores. The brand would not retail its products in any multi-brand outlets.

Trinity Group, the master franchise for NAU in India has decided to stick to exclusive stores to keep a check on prices, offer better customer service and store experience. Launched in 2005, NAU has 90 stores in Italy and follows the same brand strategy. The brand’s product portfolio consists of optical glasses, sunglasses, kids’ collection and accessories. Following a fast fashion strategy like Spanish brand Zara, NAU also plans to offer new collections in its stores within two weeks offering something new to the returning customers.

The Trinity Group has for the first time forayed into retail business with NAU and opened brand’s first store in Gurgaon this July. The company is already in the process of planning second NAU store by mid-October in Delhi's Khan Market area.
