Jabong announces Black Friday Weekend sale event

Fashion portal Jabong backed by the Global Fashion Group is putting efforts to revive its loss-making business and its initiatives around the festive season of Durga Puja and Diwali succeeded in cheering its cash registers. Now the company has announced another ‘Black Friday Weekend Sale’ event from November 27 to 30, 2015 to cash in on the holiday season.

Products ranging from tops, dresses, denim, winter-wear, to accessories, will be on offer at a minimum 30 percent to 60 percent discount. There would also be deals and discounts on the range of a wide assortment of international brands on its platform such as Mango, Topshop, Topman, Dorothy Perkins, Tom Tailor, Vero Moda and Superdry among many others.

Jabong’s recent Super Style Fest witnessed an enthused response from the consumers, which led to the fashion retailer registering over 200 percent increase in revenue in the first week of the Diwali sales campaign. Sales from the men’s category of clothing saw the biggest jump with a whopping 350 percent rise over the normal day revenue, followed by a 170 percent increase in men’s shoes, 150 percent increase in womenswear, and a 100 percent growth in the home furnishing category.
