The brand offers high end fashion for Indian women inspired by traditional as well as international trends. Juelle’s range is retailed through more than 1,800 leading stores across India. “We are only present in MBOs and the channel contributes 100 percent of our sales,” say Guneet Singh, Director and Japneet Singh, Creative Director Turbo Retail, adding, “The brand plans to promote the range in metros and cosmopolitan cities in a big way to make it accessible and available to all consumers. We are also looking forward to tie up with large formats retailers.” The company also plans to increase its product profile in MBOs by introducing new categories under the bottom wear and accessories segments.

Eyes expansion via online and offline retail

E-commerce is emerging as a great opportunity in India. And has Juelle ventured into online space in a big way through its own website and other leading e-retailers like Myntra, Flipkart, Amazon, Jabong and Snapdeal. “Though the contribution in percentage terms is less with respect to total sale figures, we expect this figure to increase considerably in the coming years,” they opines.

Talking about ecommerce the duo explain, “Online has added volume to business growth. It has given one more platform to sell the product to retailers as well as the manufacturers. In this globalized world, everything is now at our figure tip. Above that the replacement policy is icing on the cake. It has helped customers to spend online more frequently, while sitting at home or work place.”

Wardrobe options for young women

Juelle’s range comprises of bright sweat shirts, jackets, coats pre-winter sweaters and woollen tops. The summer collection includes fashionable cotton jersey and Lycra tops, tunics, shrugs and lounge wear. “Juelle is synonymous with feminity, fun and funky,” they assert. “The pieces for the new season are in bright colours. Lycra and Modal add fashion to the normal range. We also use these kinds of fabrics, which form 20-25 percent of our total range,” he adds.

The knitwear industry, according to Singh has grown tremendously in the last few years. “The various segments, such as lounge wear, evening wear, business wear as well as party wear categories are witnessing good demand. Due to changes in dressing and clothing preferences and influence of western culture, the knits industry has grown. T-shirts are not limited to casual wear now but have penetrated business and evening wear segments as well,” he sums up.
