Landmark Group launches India specific e-commerce website

Landmark Group, which owns Lifestyle and Max, launched its India-specific e-commerce website LandmarkShops.in. This has been done to help the brand’s omni-channel strategy in India whereby a customer can shop online from offline stores and get the product delivered according to his/her preference.

In UAE, LandmarkShops grew by 208 per cent year-on-year in its second year and has already crossed 100 per cent in the first half of the third year. Lifestyle is Rs 5,000 crores retail apparel brand and is expected to grow to Rs 8,500 crores company in the next three years. Max is a Rs 1,800 crore brand and is expected to grow at the rate of 38 per cent CAGR every year. A PricewaterhouseCoopers report had suggested that by 2020, online retail in India is expected to account for 3 per cent of total retail. Also, orders per million are expected to more than double from five million in 2013 to 12 million by 2016.
