Ethos Watch Boutiques, a luxury watches retailer, is moving beyond the timepiece. It is looking at expanding and has zeroed in on other categories such as luxury pens and men’s accessories. The company has tied up with Germany’s Mont Blanc to writing products and men’s accessories. Also, an agreement has been reached with Swiss-based Chopard to sell its products from Ethos Watch Boutique stores. In addition, it is in talks with other luxury brands for eyewear and is looking at launching its own brand for men’s accessories.

The start has been made with products that are similar to the watch business. But as Yasho Saboo, CEO and founder, says, using the internet in their digital platform, they are planning to create an asset light model where they can put up brand products without having to invest too much in them. If this works, then the company would look at international branded jewellery.

Presently, the company’s website is being built. So far, 80 lakh customers visit the website every year, with 3 lakh registering for the loyalty programme, the average price point being 97,000. So Saboo would like to use this large customer base to move beyond watches.

Ethos retails luxury watch brands such as Rolex, Omega, Jaeger Le Coultre and Breguet.
