Madura Fashion and Lifestyle's has been diverting dedicated efforts to its e-commerce platform Trendin.com to increase sales driven by it. Fashion is considered a high margin business and the company expects rising demand from Tier II and III cities as well as smart phone users to assist in helping its target.

“Currently, we see a 20 percent contribution from women’s category on Trendin.com. We are now bullish in terms of possibilities of leveraging the online capability with our core brand strength of creating beautiful products for our customers,” says Vinay Bhopatkar, COO of Van Heusen.

Launched in 2013, the ecommerce platform has witnessed annual traffic double in 2014-15 compared with 2013-14, so it wants to focus on the medium to drive growth in coming years. The company has seen almost 50 percent of the return orders coming from Tier II and Tier III towns. The platform retails company’s popular labels such as Allen Solly, Van Heusen, Louis Philippe, Peter England, People and Pantaloons.
