Mandhana to launch 20 new ‘Being Human’ stores

Being Human Clothing backed by Bollywood star Salman Khan’s Being Human Foundation now plans to open 20 more stores of the brand by the end of this year. Out of the 20 stores, 17 will be run by franchisees.

The wide range of collection offered by the brand includes T-shirts, shirts, polos, denims, chinos, shorts, jackets, hoodies, flip flops and accessories. Being Human Clothing has also extended its line to include women’s wear portfolio of dresses, skirts, tops and blouses. Manufactured, retailed and distributed by Mandhana Industries, the company recently announced plans to go for a demerger and subject to approval, the retail business comprising Being Human brand and other brands, would be known as Mandhana Retail Ventures.

The company has set the stage for the launch of more retail brands. It now plans to expand presence of Being Human into more categories, sign licensing deals with global brands while launching a home-grown brand of its own. Mandhana's textile division exports to big brands like H&M, Marks & Spencer, Abercrombie & Fitch and Banana Republic. It also retails Being Human in international destinations like Europe, West Asia, South Africa and Sri Lanka.
