Mandira Bedi opens a multi-designer outlet in Mumbai

Actress Mandira Bedi, who turned a successful designer and launched a range of saris has now opened a multi designer outlet called 'M The Store'.

Along with extending the store to a multi designer outlet, she has launched an online platform ‘Mthestore.com’, which offers her collection of saris along with Indian ethnic wear, western wear, indo western, prêt fusion, accessories and kurtis , among other ensembles. The store caters to the fashion-savvy customers with well known brands like Gavin Miguel, Charu Parasher, Harsh Harsh, Kiran Ajmera, Terrence Lobo, Palanquine, Ezra and many others.

Bedi recently showcased her ‘Banaras Lumiere’ collection at Araaish exhibition, in Dubai. She presented Banarasi weaving technique with a modern twist through her saris. Her second collection — Joie de Vivre was a combination of rich colours and geometric patterns. After her debut appearance at Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2014 with a beautiful feminine sari collection that was a breezy offering on the runway, Bedi has travelled to Kenya, America and other international destinations with her sari range.
