Online fashion rental Flyrobe is looking at four times growth this year. The start-up, founded in June 2015, has served more than 100 customers per day till now, thus ending the year on a high note.

IIT Bombay alumni Shreya Mishra, Pranay Sharma and Tushar Saxena launched Flyrobe in Mumbai. Recently, it brought in Sreejita Deb, a former Amazon and Google employee, to lead growth. The strong team boasts of former work experiences at Bain, Deloitte, Mondelez and Tinyowl.

The company was a started because the founders were intrigued by the concept of sharing economy. As Saxena, points out it was the technical challenges of on-demand along with fashion which has its own complexities, drew him to the concept. The dream is to create an on demand wardrobe for customers. They would like to get a repeat rate that mirrors each customer ordering from Flyrobe every time he/she steps out of home. Mishra, another co-founder, feels that the customers love them. Ash she says, ‘we don’t sell products, we sell experiences’.

Flyrobe sells ethnic as well as western wear and delivers within three hours of customer ordering an item.
