Nike opens its first largest store in India

With fitness consciousness rising among consumers, sports-lifestyle brands are putting in efforts to expand their product basket as well as reach in the country. Nike one of the top sports brands opened its largest India store, spread across three-levels and 7,355 sq. ft. on Brigade Road in Bangalore.

The new store offers gait analysis to customers and also has a centre for Nike+ Run Club. Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan was joined by cricketers R Ashwin, Shubhlakshmi and Karun Nair, footballers Sunil Chhetri, Subrata Pal and Jyoti Ann Burrett, shooter Heena Sidhu and boxer Sarita Devi for the inauguration of the store, which was followed by a panel discussion on sports in India.

All around the world, Nike+ Run Clubs train everyday athletes to achieve their personal bests, and help them to realize their full potential by providing participants with overall conditioning, training tips, expert advice, inspiring experiences and Nike product trialing, all overseen by expert Nike coaches.
