Peter England, India’s most loved menswear brand, has launched its new generation store in Allahabad. This is the largest Peter England store in Uttar Pradesh, after it opened its first store in Jaipur, last December. Spread across two floors with a total carpet area of around 4,000 square foot the inaugural day saw a spectacular fashion walk, where the latest A/W ’14 collection from the brand was showcased.

The first segment in the store hosts merchandise for the young and the just graduated consumer. These consumers strictly follow what’s in trend, are versatile, straddle across occasions and look to maximise the price benefit. It’s definite that this consumer segment wants to be unique and tries to create their own look. Therefore, the first floor showcases merchandise relevant to consumers in their early 20s – primarily jeans and casual wear.

The second segment welcomes new professionals who are entering an unfamiliar territory. The floor displays the formal wear while work casuals are displayed on the ground floor. The third and final segment celebrates the stage of the consumers’ life featuring key ranges like ‘Elite by Peter England’, a premium sub-brand.

Peter England is available at over 600 exclusive stores and 2,000 multi-brand outlets across more than 350 towns. It has been voted India's most trusted apparel brand for seven consecutive years by the ‘Economic Times Brand Equity Survey’. The brand was first launched in India by Madura Fashion and Lifestyle (then known as Madura Garments) in the mid-price segment in 1997. The company acquired the world rights for the brand in 2000.
