Shingora logs onto ecommerce platform

Ludhiana-based scarves and stoles maker Shingora Textiles has launched its own web platform to retail products to domestic as well as international customers. Shingora will offer home delivery service in India free of cost and outside the country. The company is also in talks with e-commerce portals such as Myntra and Pernia’s Pop Up Shop to sell its products through them.

Shingora offers product lines in countries like Japan, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany and Austria. International markets contribute 20 percent to Shingora's total sales. The company has also planned a digital marketing campaign through social media platforms such as Facebook and Pinterest to promote its e-commerce service.

Shingora is a family owned company specializing in weaving and finishing of products crafted from the finest Australian Fine Merino; Mongolian Cashmere; Chinese silk; Indian mercerized cotton and fine linen. “Founded in 1986, Shingora has come a long way from being a fledging enterprise that manufactured scarves and shawls to being the single biggest manufacturer and exporter of scarves, shawls and throws".
