Textile major Siyaram Silk Mills has been expanding its presence this year through new franchise stores. Siyaram Silk Mills known for its suiting, is the largest Indian manufacturer of blended fabrics. The aim is to reach out to metros and smaller towns offering international quality at affordable price.

With active 170 Siyaram’s shops all over India, by FY14-15, the company aims to have over 200 franchise stores. The Siyaram’s franchisees also have tailoring service under the brand name Tailor Fit which makes Siyaram’s shop a complete wardrobe solution having fabrics, readymade and accessories along with tailoring service under one roof.

The brands under Siyaram umbrella include Siyaram’s Suitings & Shirtings, J. Hampstead Fabric & Apparel, Oxemberg, Mistair, Moretti, Roayle Linen and Miniature. The company along with Siyaram’s Shops is also planning to open exclusive Oxemberg stores which will display wide range of garments and accessories.

A consistent financial performance of Siyaram Silk Mills, a blended fabric and garment-manufacturer despite slow economy is attracting heightened investment interest. The company, despite high volatility in raw material prices in the last three years, has maintained its operating profit margin in the range of 12-13 percent and its net profit margin at around 5-6 percent.
