Spanish designer Custo Dalmau to open stores in India

Custo Dalmau, an acclaimed international designer, who has dressed celebrities like Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, Beyonce Knowles, Shakira, Penelope Cruz and Taye Diggs, is all set to open brand stores in India. To begin with, he would launch the label through two stores in Mumbai and New Delhi respectively.

Dalmau's label ‘Custo Barcelona’, is entering the country through a lifestyle exhibition titled 'The Reverie'. It will be on for two days starting January 16, says a company statement. Custo Barcelona's Spring/Summer range would be displayed through a fashion show, which was exhibited at the New York Fashion Week two months ago. Internationally, the label is retailed in over 40 countries with about 80 exclusive stores and 3000 fashion retailers.

‘The Reverie’ exhibition will be presented by Wave Group and sponsored by BMW India. It will host a unique and creative fashion extravaganza featuring a fashion show, raffle draw, guest photography, cocktail party and an exhibition of designer products. The exhibition is being exclusively partnered with Delhi-based NGO Goonj, which actively works in 21 states across India.
