Sucre d’Orge & Cie opens a debut store in New Delhi

French premium baby gifting and apparel brand Sucre d'Orge & Cie opened doors to its first exclusive store in New Delhi. It has been launched at the Select City Walk Mall in Saket, New Delhi. The debut flagship store was inaugurated by Xavier Cunaud, MD, Salmon Arc En Ciel Group and Sahil Lamba. The aim is to offer some unique and customized gifting options and apparel for the little ones. The India strategy also includes expanding presence in the north India and tapping customers through online medium, keeping the pace e-shopping is gathering in India.

The kids’ wear and accessories segment in India is gathering momentum with a rising number of global brands and designers creating miniature versions of their adult clothing options for them. And today’s fashion conscious Indian consumer, having disposable income is willing to splurge on branded clothing for their children. Sucre d'Orge & Cie enjoys almost 34 percent share of the French market in apparels and 50 percent in nursery items.
