Taanz set to spread brand presence across India

Taanz the Delhi-based fashion brand is set to increase its presence across India with its latest collection ‘Taanz Attitude’. The brand has its own design studio and online portal from where 75 percent of its outsourcing is done. Launched in 2007 Taanz began by offering fashionable clothes for women. The idea was to provide affordable casuals.

Small towns reap in profits

The brand has seen 75 percent growth in large format store. After covering almost all the north and east Indian cities, Taanz has now set its eyes on west and south Indian cities. “Though we have not opened exclusive business outlets yet, the plan is to start opening EBOs in the near future. However, at the moment we are there in over 180 MBOs across India. We have distributors in Chennai, UP, Punjab, Rajasthan, Northeast and east India. We also export our products to countries like Sri Lanka, Nepal, Maldives, Malaysia, South Africa, UAE, Oman etc,” says Kapil Khorana, Business and Product Head.

As far as MBOs and LFS are concerned, the brand is associated with almost all leading names in the industry. Specifically, they are with Reliance Trends, Central, Megamart, Biglife Ritu Wears, Rajsons etc. “Our brand has seen 75 percent growth in LFS only. We have three stand alone stores. There also we have experience excellent growth,” explains Khorana.

New line to woos customers

“We have recently introduced a new line called, ‘Taanz Attitude’ which is a collection of evening wear, party wear and high fashion. The collection offers jeans, frocks, trousers, tops, wraparound, capris for women. T-shirts, trousers, jackets, denim jeans, embroidered denim jeans for men and shirts, jeans, shorts and fancy apparels for kids. Basically, we offer international fashion at affordable prices. There is a new wardrobe every season, which includes tops, tunics, dresses, palazzos, jump suits, bottoms, non-denims, sweat shirts, sweaters, coats and jackets. We also cater to high fashion garments,”opines Khorana.
