Popular T-shirt brand Tantra has opened four new stores in Mumbai, Calicut, Bangalore and Hyderabad, respectively. The company’s now operates over 35 stores across the country including the four new ones.

“There are very few T-shirt brands having standalone stores like us in the country,” avers Rajiv Ramchandani, CEO of Tantra, adding, “We are in a unique space, in that respect. The space required to start a Tantra EBO is flexible, from a 150 square foot to 450 square foot, depending on location and rentals. Each of these youth zones or hubs, as we call it, are catering to the compulsive youth customer.”

The company has also expanded its product portfolio and now offers all categories in knits for men, women, kids and babies. It has added a woven label to the mix, apart from a host of accessories. Kicking off its journey in 1997 with an idea of putting India on a T-shirt, the company ventured into the market with this totally new concept and has been witnessing encouraging response from its target audience.
