TCNS targets to achieve Rs 1,000 cr sales by 2017

Contemporary ethnic wear firm TCNS Clothing, which owns the ‘W’ brand has set a target of doubling its sales to Rs 1,000 crores by the end of fiscal year 2017. This will be done by opening new stores, investing in offering innovative product offerings and focusing on increasing online sales.

Continuing with its retail expansion plans, the company would also open 125 new outlets of its brands ‘W’ and ‘Aurelia’ this year. Nearly 100 out of these would be added this year. It will open 60 'W' and 65 'Aurelia' stores. The company operates around 200 'W' and 90 'Aurelia' outlets at the moment.

On the international front, TCNS would look at opening three stores in Mauritius, Nepal and Sri Lanka by end of his month. New collection for Spring/Summer 2015 at W is inspired from places around the world. The entire range is based on different international concepts and places including cypher nouvelle, riverra, fressia, ink box, Ivory Coast, Massai Mara and Barcelona.

Apart from the core ‘W’ collection, the brand also has a line of ethnic wear called Wishfull. The collection under this takes inspiration from historic Indian weaves.
