The Arvind Store opens door in Kolkata

Arvind, one of the largest integrated textiles and branded apparel players, opened its first flagship ‘The Arvind Store’ in Kolkata. Located on Camac Street, the store is spread over an area of over 3,000 square foot and offers all the best fashion brands under its portfolio like Arrow, US Polo Association and Flying Machine under one roof.

Studio Arvind, the custom tailoring unit of The Arvind Store, focuses on Arvind’s knowledge in creating world-class garments. It offers customised garments, different styles and fits for each category. The in-house stylist at the store provides advice on how getting the perfect set of customised garment. At the same time Arvind Denim Lab (ADL) concept is exclusive to The Arvind Store, offering customised washed jeans on made to order basis. It empowers the consumer to choose his/her own style, fit, wash, fabric, buttons, rivets and threads. The customer can also personalise it with his/her zodiac sign label and own signature in thread. With this offering, the company presents for the first time in India, hand-crafted denim, which is delivered in approximately 14 days to the customer.

With the Kolkata store, the company plans to expand in other parts of West Bengal by launching more stores by this fiscal end. This is the company’s 142nd store across India and 5th store in Kolkata. Another flagship store launch is in the pipeline in Chennai this fiscal. The Arvind Store will soon reach an important milestone in its journey by opening 150 stores across the country and the company now wants to take this number to over 400 stores in the next 4 years.
