Timberland is eyeing a second entry into the country through the online route. The American company that offers hiking boots and outdoor clothing is said to be in the final stages of inking a deal with fashion platform Myntra.com.

Timberland's products are already available on some e-commerce platforms such as Amazon.in, Jabong.com in the country, however, once the deal gets through, the company's products will only be available on Myntra.

Timberland had earlier entered India partnering Reliance Brands through a license cum distribution agreement in September 2010. Its product range includes footwear- casual and semi formal shoes and floaters for men and women, apparel such as casual T-shirts, shirts and sweatshirts for men and several accessories.

With Myntra’s wide reach, Timberland can tap into discerning consumers seeking stylish and sustainable products that Timberland is synonymous with. This association will help both Myntra.com and Timberland cater to the ever growing appetite of the adventure seeking outdoor enthusiast.
