Titan Eyeplus opens in Cooch Behar

Titan Eyeplus, the eyewear retail chain from Titan Company, opened its first ever retail store in Cooch Behar, North Bengal, making it the fifth store in the area and 92nd outlet in East Zone. The store has 100 styles in spectacle frames and sunglasses conforming to latest international trends. The prices range between Rs 995 to Rs 3495. It also has contact lenses and accessories and the brands on offer include Titan, Dash, Fastrack, Bausch & Lomb and Johnson & Johnson. Plans are afoot to store international brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Ray Ban and Stepper.

The store will also specialise in high tech contact lenses to meet consumer requirement across various segments by offering single vision, bifocal and progressive types of lenses. The lenses are made of different material such as glass, plastics, polycarbonates and Trivex with scratch resistant and anti-reflective coatings which minimize glare and give 90 per cent vision clarity. Also available will be a wide variety of photo-chromatic lenses suitable for outdoor usage. A service to fit sunglasses with customised Rx lenses is also on offer. The store is spread out on an area of 480 sq ft.

For Titan Eyeplus, West Bengal is an important market in the East Zone. As Santosh S., regional business manager (east), eyewear division, Titan Company Ltd, points out, ‘even as we are widening our retail footprint, we are continuing efforts towards offering various amenities to our customers, including world class products like frames and lenses, free in-store eye check-ups and best in service’.
