Titan opens first integrated showroom in Vishakhapatnam

Titan has opened doors to its first integrated retail showroom offering watches, jewellery, eyewear and accessories under a single roof at Vishakhapatnam. The store houses brands under Titan umbrella such as Tanishq, Helios, Fastrack and Titan Eyeplus. The major area, over 4,100 sq. ft., displays Tanishq range, followed by Helios covering 1,500 sq. ft. and Fastrack and Titan Eyeplus segments on 1,000 sq. ft. area.

Having a store network spread across 230 towns, Titan Company has stores for watches and accessories under World of Titan, Helios and Fastrack, jewellery under retail brands Tanishq, Zoya, GoldPlus and Eyeplus for multi-brand eyewear.

The company posted net profit of Rs 823 crores in 2014-15, registering 11 percent increase, year-on-year. Income from sales grew nine percent to Rs 11,791 crores for the fiscal under review despite low consumer sentiment. Income from jewellery grew 9.2 percent to Rs 9,430 crores and watches 7.3 percent to Rs 1,921 crores, while other segments comprising precision engineering, eyewear and accessories grew 13 percent to Rs 564 crores.
