Tod’s opens second boutique store in Mumbai

Tod's, the Italian luxury label recently organised an exclusive cocktail evening to celebrate the opening of its second boutique store in India, at Palladium Mall in Mumbai. Actress Kangana Ranaut inaugurated the boutique.

The store offers Tod's women's and men's collections accentuated with modern Italian elegance. The interiors are on the lines of the brand’s worldwide boutiques in terms of high quality materials, luxury, understated elegance and functionality. The brand recently also entered into a joint venture partnership with actor Ranbir Kapoor for its business in India.

So far, the characteristics of Tod’s products have been classic styling using high quality materials with more emphasis on functionality than fashion. Tod’s shoes and D-bags have been popular with A-listers like Hillary Clinton, Sharon Stone, Tom Hanks, Madonna, Kevin Costner, Andie Mc Dowell and Steven Spielberg, which now have a following in India too. Several foreign fashion brands, including Italy's Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, Versace, Armani, Ermenegildo Zegna and Boggi Milano are already present in India and sell their products through local partnerships.
