Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla to open Lakme Fashion Week

Acclaimed designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla will open the Winter/Festive season of Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) starting from August 25 in Mumbai. The organisers had recently announced the list of seven names, who will be part of the 20th batch of Gen Next category at the forthcoming edition of the fashion event to be held from August 26.
The seven shortlisted names include Ajay Kumar, Charchit Bafna, Kriti Tula, Jebin Johny, Ishita Mangal, Shivangi Sahni and Siddhartha Bansal. They will be mentored by the country's leading fashion consultant and entrepreneur Sabina Chopra. Gaurav Gupta will bring the curtain down as the grand finale designer of LFW.
Last year, LFW shifted to a new location from the Grand Hyatt hotel to Palladium Hotel in Lower Parel area of Mumbai. A bi-annual affair held over a period of five days, LFW provides platform for a mix of 100 established and upcoming designers to showcase their latest collections.
