Aditya Birla Group tops Nielsen’s ‘CIM’ survey

Aditya Birla Group has topped Nielsen's Corporate Image Monitor (CIM) 2014-15 survey that measures the reputation of leading companies in the country. The survey was conducted across 42 companies with over 2,000 respondents in eight metros.

The Birla group has been bagging the top spot consecutively for last three years. Some of the parameters for the study included transparency, trust, demonstration of vision and leadership, perceptions of company product and services, financial performance, workplace environment. The company was ahead of other on the vision and leadership parameters.

Kumar Mangalam Birla-led Aditya Birla Group recently announced the merger of its two retail arms: the Aditya Birla Nuvo-owned fashion retailing business with Pantaloons Fashion & Retail. The merger has led to the launch of Rs 12,000 crores (around two billion dollars) branded apparel entity called Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail (ABFRL).
