Anamika Khanna to open ‘Fashion Parade’ in London

London-based Aashni + Co will be presenting India’s premier luxury fashion brand Anamika Khanna as the opening design house at the Fashion Parade in the British capital this week, for the second consecutive year. Founded by former filmmaker Aashni Shah in 2012, Aashni + Co is one of London’s leading destinations for latest luxury Indian fashion. Launched in 2013, Fashion Parade is organised by Sadia Siddiqui, Founder of Mustang Productions.

Since its opening in late 2012, Aashni + Co has been able to establish as a one stop shop for luxury Indian fashion. The brand has also got an invitation to exhibit at the Kensington Palace, an iconic landmark that has played home to members of the British Royal family since the 17th century. As the only Indian store to be invited to showcase alongside seven other acclaimed designers from Pakistan, Ashana + had chosen Kolkata-based Khanna to pave way for a unique spotlight on Indian fashion.

Australian singer Dannii Minogue had picked up Amit Aggarwal’s silk chiffon dress molded with fine hand cut faux metal gold strips to wear on the cover of her new album ‘This is It: The Very Best Of’, which was retailing at Aashni+Co.
