Bvlgari brings its first US public installation to New York's High Line

Bvlgari has unveiled its first public installation in the United States, a temporary golden structure on New York's High Line above Little West 12th Street. Titled "AuruBoros — Urban Memory and Collective Dream," the work is on view from September 10 to 20, following a private press preview on September 9.

The installation was created by Berlin-based duo Plastique Fantastique, made up of Marco Canevacci and Yena Young, and commissioned by Bvlgari for Serpenti Infinito in New York. It consists of pneumatic coiling forms in gold emerging from beneath The Standard, presented by the brand as giving shape to the pressures and rhythms beneath the city's surface.

AuruBoros is the latest stop in Serpenti Infinito, a travelling project that began in Shanghai in 2023 and continued through Seoul and Mumbai in 2025. Each iteration examines how a single symbol translates across cultures for a different city and audience.

"With Serpenti Infinito New York, Bvlgari reaffirms its enduring commitment to art as a universal language that connects cultures, inspires dialogue and celebrates creativity in all its forms," said Laura Burdese, Bvlgari chief executive, in a statement. "Bringing Serpenti to one of the world's most dynamic cultural capitals marks a meaningful new chapter in the icon's extraordinary journey, one that continues to evolve while remaining deeply rooted in our Roman heritage."

Alongside the installation, Bvlgari is unveiling a group of high jewellery pieces referencing the city's artistic history through the Serpenti motif: three new Serpenti Tubogas designs and a high accessories minaudière, all making their worldwide debut. The pieces will be available in selected boutiques from September.
