Da Milano eyes international expansion for growth

Da Milano, the homegrown luxury accessory brands completed 25 years in India this year. The brand also launched its 47th boutique in the country and expanded its offerings by adding leather jewellery segment. Now on the agenda is expanding its footprint in international markets like the UAE, Middle East, South East Asia and Europe.

The brand enjoys a presence through 47 stores across the country in Tier I and Tier II cities including Delhi & NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Pune, Raipur, Jaipur and Ahmedabad. The product range is also retailed through its online platform to reach out to the consumers, where it doesn’t have a brick-and-mortar presence. Now the company aims to take the store count to 60 by the end of next year.

Launched as a leather garments and small accessories brand, Da Milano later launched its handbag segment. So from offering leather jackets, wallets and belts, the company expanded to travel collection like passport case, laptop bags, briefcase, travel bags and trolley. The range is available in wide array of colours from basic blacks and browns to fuschia, green, blue, and grey. Now after adding leather jewellery for women, company plans to venture into other accessories like scarves, watches, eyewear and fragrance.
