The three-day Gionee India Beach Fashion Week (GIBFW) 2015 concluded with grand finale designer Wendell Rodricks showcasing his menswear line during the beach-side show at The Lalit Golf & Spa Resort in Goa. His designs have everything from colourful swim trunks, collarless jackets, trousers, pants with side flaps and pleated trousers with side fins for men.

His “Ahead of the Curve’ range for women comprised of clothes in shades of indigo, white, black, mint, magenta, peach and blue. The line had ponchos, layered sleeve tops, long-sleeved shirts with curved accents, balloon pants as well as a few saris.

Bright coloured swimming trunks, shirts with lungis and sherwanis with palazzo pants dominated the men’s fashion scene during the fashion gala. Along with Rodricks, designer duo Debarghaya Bairagi (Dev) and Navonil Das (Nil)’s 'The Journey' too had designs for men and women. Ankle-length trousers, printed black and white pants, kurtas with leaf prints and check suits were the highlights of their range.

Even designer Niteesh Singh Chauhan's 'Ghats of Varanasi' collection saw holiday to wedding wear in fabrics highlighted with Shibori and leheriya dyeing techniques. The collection had kalidaar kurtas worn with churidars and sherwanis teamed with palazzo pants. James Ferreira’s line consisted of black and white outfits like unbuttoned shirts and bottoms of different lengths.
