Dongre among ‘Most Powerful Women in Business’ list

Renowned designer Anita Dongre has once again been listed amongst the Fortune India- Fourth Annual Ranking of ‘Most Powerful Women in Business’. A visionary entrepreneur and creative genius, Dongre followed her dream, and created a fashion empire that boasts of three distinct fashion brands: AND, Global Desi, and her signature label, Anita Dongre.

With more than 135 exclusive brand outlets, presence across more than 440 MBOs and retailing in more than 50 cities, including a store in Mauritius, her company continues to grow from strength to strength. She aims to further expand reach to national and international locations.

Recently, the designer joined hands with United Nation's (UN) first ever Bollywood style human rights campaign video. She designed a stunning look for UN Equality champion and actress Celina Jaitly, who features in the video.
