Duke readies a chic, clean wardrobe for the new season

Four-decade old Ludhiana-based company, Duke Fashions offers the full range of clothing for men, women and kids. The company provides an endless range of products which include T-shirts, jackets, sweaters, sweatshirts, tracksuits, thermals, jogging suits, shirts, denims and trousers, lowers, Bermudas, shorts, value packs, lounge wear and accessories for the entire family. It has also introduced a footwear range called ‘Step Ahead’. For the new season, a tees line of prints all over, dobbies and jacquards has been unveiled.

“Duke continues to make products that are value for money. The brand has a loyal customer base who will settle for nothing else. Style statement for current season is clean, chic and vibrant for the impatient generation,” explains Komal Kumar Jain, Chairman, Duke.

Festive/winter styles

Duke’s wardrobe for the new season is clean with a lot of hidden detailing. Fits are cropped and sharp in trousers and denim. The length of fashion shirts and jackets, aimed at the youth has increased whereas for bottomwear it has reduced. “Colour palette is in bright tones. Globally, tones and shades of teals, apricots, fungus green are trending in men’s wear. For denim, we are using golf-ball wash and cloud wash, a lot of crackling, raw washes, all over cloud wash and darker indigos have been used,” elaborates Jain.

In shirts, fabrics like checks, solid and plaids, 40s, 60s, 80s cottons, dobbies and textures have been used. In T-shirts, cotton and cotton blends, jacquards and textured fabrics. For trousers its stretch cotton and blends, colour coated fabrics. Denims has nylon blends while jackets use cotton coated fabrics.
